Re: [THA] Doji Moro (Crane Clan Personality)

Magistrates have a few force reduction abilities, so the Fear would work in conjunction with that. She's a solid addition to that deck, if not outstanding.

Re: [THA] The Price of Shame (Strategy)

This seems like it would be better in non-Crane Magistrate decks, although it might have some use in Jester. Not terrible, but will be fighting for spots in the Fate deck.

Re: [THA] Caught Among Thieves (Strategy)

In the Magistrate deck, the conditions aren't that hard to meet for the free honour. Card cycle for an honour and Courage in a pinch. Certainly worth a look.

Re: [THA] Virtuous Victory (Strategy)

4 Force swing in the decks it should be played in with an honour gain. Overwhelming is a staple with a 5F swing, so this will at least get people trying it out. I could definitely see it getting some use in Constructed, especially in Magistrates.

Re: [THA] Turquoise Adunct (Strategy)

Discarding a card is a big cost, although "free' gold is never a bad thing. Ultimately, the investment is two Fate cards and bowing a personality to get that first 3 or 4 gold, and the question is if that's worth it for some gold acceleration? I don't think it is, but I could also see myself be...

Re: [THA] Rhetorician (Holding)

The 3g is awkward for the 4g box honour decks, but there is definite potential here. Could have more of a place in Lion Ancestor, depending on how Fortification-heavy their version is. Either way, its definitely a card that will see play.

A card sorely lacking for Duelists that can't get away with running Your True Nature. This card will be a Duelist staple for a long time. Great card!

A solid utility personality for Magistrates. Stats become very strong if you are down a province. The Compassion trait fits him nicely. I can see him getting played.

Re: [THA] A Vision Imparted (Event)

If you flipped this twice, you should have the ability twice, by my reading. This event is definitely a nice fit in a Hira Sensei deck and might be worth consideration in other ones.

Re: [THA] Hira Sensei (Sensei)

The Province Strength hit is definitely scary, but most military decks are already easily hitting 6PS so is there really that much of a difference? It probably still isn't worth starting at 5PS competitively, but there are some good events nobody runs because of the slot they take up in a deck. Remo...
