Exactly! Since the impetus for the wars was Matsu vs Kakita in the first Emerald Championship, our enmity is with Lady Matsu and can be excused from the living Lions. Besides, being a jerk to someone's house is fun. We should TP her statue and fill the wall sconces with fish.

Well AEG has never really worried about that, knowing that intrinsic rivalries make it impossible, but they should be able to respect what the members of a single clan want.

I don't want the Crane to burn the Kitsu Tombs to the ground. I want a Kakita to do something offensive to Lady Matsu's chambers before returning control to the Lion.

She's also in Unexpected Allies 2, so she really has as much character background as anyone in our clan, daimyos included.

I would prefer big, sweeping stories. Random samurai drama has never interested me. I would prefer a smaller number of characters IF that number includes the characters who actually matter, like our family daimyos. IC it would probably be because Kae is an idealist, more so than Makoto, whose support of Shibatsu was purely pragmatic. Kae would likely see Seiken as the one true samurai between them, and she would support the tradition of eldest heir.
