Well I think it finally occurred to Shawn that any competent writer can incorporate the way all the clans approach a story selection into the story itself, and not just treat it like L5R Mad Libs and insert the name of the winner into some generic fiction that no one else cares about. Making losing only a little less satisfying than winning will go a long way for the team.
