Court Musician (Crane Character)

The future is difficult to determine in the world of Rokugan. Few could predict the increasingly complicated political situation the Emerald Empire has become embroiled in. But there is one who claims to have foreseen the path of Rokugan: the enigmatic Togashi Yokuni. The Dragon Clan Champion has glimpsed the Rising Wave, the strife coming to Rokugan. But what actions has he taken? Where has he sent the Army of the Rising Wave and what do they hope to accomplish? A Champion’s Foresight continues the themes of the Inheritance cycle, lending support to the Bushi and Courtiers of Rokugan. The pack also introduces two provinces to the game and a new stronghold for the mysterious Dragon Clan.

He is a 2 drop with 5 points of stats, thats good, his cost reduction is kind of deceiving because you are spending money on him and maybe putting a fate on him. Some would say you could just not buy him and save the fate to play the cards you were going to reduce the cost of, and while true, that is wrong. You need characters on the board to break provinces, breaking provinces win you the game, so playing Court Musician wins you the game. That last part really isn't completely true, if you play scorpion you never have to break provinces to win the game.
